HP's Education Services organization wanted to successfully communicate the acquisition of two new ITSM consulting companies. Within a very short timeframe, Connected Marketing was asked to create several communication vehicles to help articulate the value of these acquisitions. Our target audience was two-fold, as we wanted to create excitement around this announcement for both HP customers and HP sales management. We initially helped shape the overall messaging structure to ensure that both targets understood the value of the acquisitions. We then created several communication vehicles, including multiple HTML email communications, an internal and external FAQ, website pages and an Acquisition Fact Sheet. The launch proved to be quite successful, gaining exposure in several key publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the San Francisco Chronicle and several online technology newsletters.
